We Review It All: Send DC Additive Pros Your 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Gear

We spend all day running 3D printers hard. PEEK and ULTEM in a heated chamber, carbon-fiber nylon on abrasive-ready hardware, 3D scanners capturing worn parts down to a few hundredths of a millimeter, and a rotating cast of filaments, nozzles, build surfaces, and software in between. That makes our shop a pretty good place to find out whether a product actually holds up. So we are opening the bench: if you make anything for additive manufacturing or 3D printing, send it our way and we will review it honestly, in writing and on video.

What we will review (short answer: all of it)

If it touches additive manufacturing, we are interested. That includes printers of every flavor (FDM, resin, SLS, and metal systems), filament, resin, and powder, hotends and nozzles, build plates and adhesion products, 3D scanners and metrology tools, slicers and design or simulation software, drying and storage gear, post-processing equipment, tooling and fixturing, and the accessories nobody talks about until they fail. New machine, niche filament, clever upgrade part, or a piece of software you think deserves attention: we want to put it to work.

Why a review from a working shop is worth having

Plenty of reviews stop at a calibration cube and a spec sheet. Ours do not, because we test in the same conditions our customers pay for. We run materials at real temperatures, under real loads, on real jobs, and we care about the things engineering buyers care about: dimensional accuracy, repeatability across a batch, layer adhesion, heat and chemical resistance, ease of dialing in a process, and whether a product does what the marketing claims when the part actually has to survive. We are a US-based production shop in Rockville, Maryland, not a sponsored unboxing channel, and that perspective is exactly what makes a review useful.

What you get as a manufacturer or brand

Send us a product (or arrange a loaner) and we will give it a genuine workout, then publish a clear, detailed review covering what it does well, where it struggles, and who it is right for. Reviews can run as a written article on our blog, as a video, or both, and we are happy to capture the kind of real test footage (heat, stress, print-quality comparisons) that is hard to fake. Your gear gets in front of an audience of makers and serious engineering buyers, evaluated by people who use this equipment for a living.

The honest ground rules

This only works if people trust it, so we keep it clean. Our opinion is not for sale. We will not trade a positive review for a free product, and we will say plainly when something underperforms or is not worth the money. When a manufacturer provides a product for review, or sends a loaner, we disclose that clearly to our audience, in line with FTC guidance on endorsements, so readers know exactly how the product reached our bench. And to be transparent: we do not currently run an affiliate-link program, so our reviews do not earn us a commission. If we ever add affiliate or sponsored arrangements, we will label them every time. No pay-to-play, no hidden incentives.

How to send us your gear

It starts with one email. Manufacturers, brands, distributors, and PR teams can reach us at info@dcadditivepros.com with the product you would like reviewed, a short description and any spec sheets, and whether you want to ship a unit or set up a loaner. Tell us if there is a specific use case or claim you want us to stress-test, and let us know whether you prefer a written review, a video, or both. We read everything and follow up on the products that fit our bench and our audience.

Just need parts printed?

If you landed here because you need parts made rather than reviewed, that is our day job. We print engineering-grade materials on demand through our PEEK and ULTEM 3D printing service, rebuild broken or obsolete components with 3D scanning and reverse engineering, and turn a file or a sample into finished parts through build and ship, with a $20 minimum order. For a fast price, use the instant quote on our homepage.

We are genuinely excited to test more of what this industry is building. If you have a product you are proud of, send it to info@dcadditivepros.com and let us put it through its paces.
