How it installs

Press the adapter into the louver opening until the angled rim seats against the edge. Crush ribs hold it in place with no tools and no screws, the same way the factory louver is held by tabs rather than fasteners. Slide 5 inch flexible duct over each collar and tighten a band clamp behind the raised bead.

What duct does it take?
Standard 5 inch flexible duct, held with a band clamp behind the raised bead on each collar.

Do I need tools to install it?
No. It presses into the louver opening and is held by crush ribs. A screwdriver is only needed to tighten your duct clamps.

Can I put the original louver back?
Yes. Pull the adapter out and press the louver back into its tabs. Nothing on the unit is modified.
